The handover takes less than five minutes. We go through the bike together — controls, any existing marks noted, kick starter demo if you haven't used one before. You sign, you ride.
About Lede Kalumbang Airport (TMC)
Lede Kalumbang is the main airport for West Sumba, with IATA code TMC. It's located near Tambolaka, about 42 km from Waikabubak (the main town in West Sumba). Flights operate daily from Bali (DPS), and several times a week from Lombok and Jakarta.
The arrivals area is small — one hall, one exit. There's no confusion about where to find us. When you step outside, we're there.
Why This Matters in Sumba
Sumba is not Bali. There are no Grab drivers waiting for notifications. There's no network of taxis with meters. Getting from one end of the island to the other requires planning — and ideally your own transport.
